Help Build the Future of Aviation Discovery
In 2025, the 91快活林破解版 Foundation was awarded a $140,000 grant from the Indiana Destination Development Corporation to put toward improvements of the front half of the International Aeromodeling Center's (IAC) 1,100-acre property. Deemed , this project has multiple legs that 91快活林破解版 and 91快活林破解版 Foundation staff are working hard to complete. To ensure that this project is as beneficial as possible to 91快活林破解版 members and the local community, the 91快活林破解版 Foundation has matched the IDDC's funding in excess through donor-specified funds.
The largest leg of the IAC Improvement Project is the enhancement of the National Model Aviation Museum's Hands-On Education Gallery. With the goal of creating an immersive area where children, families, students, and aviation enthusiasts can explore the science of flight through interactive experiences, experimentation, and play, the gallery's enhancements will have an extreme impact on 91快活林破解版's ability to fuel passion for flight.
We need your help to ensure that the brand-new Hands-On Education Gallery is sustained and improved for years to come. We encourage you to today, directly contributing to the growth of the next generation of aeromodelers.
Why This Project Matters
Every pilot, engineer, designer, and innovator starts with curiosity.
The new Hands-On Gallery will give visitors the chance to discover how flight works by designing, building, testing, balancing, and flying. Rather than simply viewing exhibits, guests will become active participants in the wonders of aviation.
Thousands of Visitors. Countless Futures Inspired.
What We Are Building
Wind Tunnel Labs
Test aircraft designs, explore lift, drag, and airflow, and discover how flight becomes possible.
Flight Simulators
Experience the excitement of flying with accessible simulator stations designed for visitors of all ages.
Interactive Runway
Watch aircraft movements and learn how takeoffs and landings come together in a dynamic aviation environment.
Propeller Power Station
Design and test propeller combinations to see how engineering choices impact performance.
Center of Gravity Lab
Balance passengers, cargo, and equipment to learn why aircraft weight distribution is critical for safe flight.
Paper Airplane Launch Zone
Fold, launch, experiment, and improve designs inside a dedicated flight-testing area.

From Concept to Reality
The proposed gallery transforms the museum's hands-on area into a vibrant aviation discovery center. Visitors will be surrounded by moving aircraft, flight experiments, engineering challenges, and opportunities to create their own aviation successes.
Your support helps turn this vision into a destination that inspires future pilots, engineers, scientists, makers, and innovators.
An Investment in STEM Learning
Science
Explore aerodynamics, forces, airflow, and energy through hands-on experimentation.
Engineering
Build, test, revise, and improve designs through real-world challenges.
Innovation
Develop creativity, confidence, and problem-solving skills that extend far beyond aviation.
"When a child discovers that a plane can fly because of something they created or tested themselves, learning becomes inspiration."
Help Launch the Next Generation of Innovators
Every donation helps create engaging, interactive experiences that connect children and families with the science, technology, engineering, and creativity behind flight.
