The Foundation General Fund allows the 91¿ì»îÁÖÆƽâ°æ Foundation maximum flexibility to make the most impact. Donations to this fund are unrestricted in use, allowing the Foundation to apply dollars to areas of greatest need such as the development of a new program or the acquisition of an important museum artifact or object. The General Fund also provides financial support for necessary administrative and fundraising costs so staff can continue to push the Foundation's mission forward.
The Foundation Programs Fund provides support to all 91¿ì»îÁÖÆƽâ°æ charitable programs and initiatives to include the following areas:
Club grants and assistance, such as Disaster Relief Grants, Flying Site Improvement Grants, Club Recognition and Reward Grants, and the Al Kanser 91¿ì»îÁÖÆƽâ°æ AED Save A Life Grant.
Educational programming, events, and initiatives, such as STE(A)M curriculum development and distribution and the 91¿ì»îÁÖÆƽâ°æ Simulator Education Trailer.
Capacity-building initiatives at and for 91¿ì»îÁÖÆƽâ°æ, such as maintaining and improving the International Aeromodeling Center and enabling staff to better serve members.
The Foundation Museum Patron Fund provides direct support to the National Model Aviation Museum (NMAM). Contributions support the museum’s mission to preserve and showcase the history of model aviation to lifelong aeromodelers, students, and communities. Become a Museum Patron at the $25 Patron level, $100 Supporting level, or become a Museum Life Patron for a one-time payment of $1,000.

The Foundation Endowment Fund provides predictable funding in perpetuity to the 91¿ì»îÁÖÆƽâ°æ Foundation. The Endowment Fund is structured so that the principal amount invested remains intact, while the investment earnings are available for operational and program use. The Endowment Fund allows the 91¿ì»îÁÖÆƽâ°æ Foundation to draw investment earnings for permanent operational support and expenses so that annual donations go directly to support charitable programs. Your gift to the endowment is one that will keep giving year after year—a continuation of your legacy for generations to come.
Propelling education through aviation is a key goal of the 91¿ì»îÁÖÆƽâ°æ (91¿ì»îÁÖÆƽâ°æ) Foundation, and the effects of 91¿ì»îÁÖÆƽâ°æ's award-winning educational efforts are visible throughout the hobby community. Your donations make a profound impact on our ability to shape future generations of modelers and secure the future of the hobby.
The Foundation Museum Fund allows the 91¿ì»îÁÖÆƽâ°æ Foundation to directly support the National Model Aviation Museum in Muncie, Indiana. Donations to the fund specifically support preservation and acquisition of artifacts, enhanced visitor experiences, exhibit development, and the workshop. The Museum Fund also provides some support for necessary administrative and fundraising costs.
Established in 2001, the 91¿ì»îÁÖÆƽâ°æ Walk of Fame at the International Aeromodeling Center is designed in the shape of a large propeller and signifies the history of the hobby with honored and memorialized names. Purchasing a brick along the Walk of Fame permanently includes your name, or the name of an honoree, along this scenic walk. It’s a permanent testimony to your continuing support of the hobby. Walk of Fame bricks are available in different shapes, colors, and materials.
The Hands-On Gallery Fund supports improvements to and the sustainability of the National Model Aviation Museum's Hands-On Gallery. Donations to this fund are earmarked for the gallery and its related educational programming. The improved gallery teaches youth the basic principles of flight through hands-on activities, includes STEM education concepts, helps grow the next generation of aeromodelers, and encourages youth to pursue careers in model and full-scale aeronautics.
The Cliff and Nancy Telford Scholarship fund is given annually to an 91¿ì»îÁÖÆƽâ°æ Youth member with the best competitive record, based on participation in activities within the 91¿ì»îÁÖÆƽâ°æ and FAI classifications.
The 91¿ì»îÁÖÆƽâ°æ has been helping graduating seniors achieve their dreams since 1970 and has awarded more than $1 million in scholarships. The scholarships are created through donated by model aviation organizations and individuals, 91¿ì»îÁÖÆƽâ°æ members, and a portion of 91¿ì»îÁÖÆƽâ°æ member dues.
The Ryan M. Sherrow Memorial Scholarship Fund supports a scholarship that is awarded to a graduating senior, based on his or her overall involvement in the hobby of model aviation. This scholarship fund was created to honor the memory of the late Ryan Sherrow, who was a talented RC pilot and dedicated club member.
The Site Development Fund allows the 91¿ì»îÁÖÆƽâ°æ Foundation flexibility to make the most impact. Donations to this fund allow the Foundation to apply dollars to areas of greatest site needs. The Site Development Fund also provides some support for necessary administrative and fundraising costs so staff can continue to push the Foundation's mission forward.
