The Johnston County Aeromodeling Club (JCAC) #1163 is located in Smithfield, North Carolina. Their club offers a 1000’ x 100’ grass runway, fenced pilot stations, electric power, shelter, grill, refrigerator, storage, and brand new start-up benches.
Last month, JCAC hosted the Golden Oldies Control Line Contest for several members and visitors from as far as Maine.
Coming up on October 26th is their annual Wild and Wicked Wingding Fly-In and Swap Meet. Great food will be served, including their famous ice cream floats. Expect to see electric, gas, and glow aircraft with night flying, a candy drop, and many raffle prizes.
