The Indianapolis R/C Modelers #288 is an 91快活林破解版 Gold Club Leader, founded back in 1953 for the purpose of supporting and advancing the hobby of radio control aircraft building & flying. Members fly all types of aircraft at this flying site, including: micro aircraft, basic trainers, sport aircraft, scale models of World War I & II aircraft, giant scale aircraft, and the occasional turbine powered aircraft. They also welcome other aircraft types including helicopters and multi-rotors.
The club of 75+ members has enjoyed 25 years flying at their current location at the Blue River Air Park, located one mile west of Morristown, Indiana. This fall, the club will celebrate the anniversary with a special invite to the community to join them for a fly-all event. Their motto is to strive to be, "The Best RC Flying Experience in Indiana".
Their main runway is 411' x 45' Geotex surface which is being expanded this month to 511' x 45'. A 700' x 70' grass runway runs parallel to the main runway. The club features five dedicated pilot stations, four covered workbench areas, club house, large parking area (for campers & trailers, too), and a recently upgraded main separation safety fence.
They have a very active Intro Pilot Program helping beginners learn to fly in a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere. There are several instructors that provide training on Wednesday nights to give priority for student flyers.
The club keeps a very busy event schedule every year. Visit their website to follow all these upcoming events:
