The 91¿ì»îÁÖÆƽâ°æ Foundation is proud to support 91¿ì»îÁÖÆƽâ°æ Introductory Pilot Program clubs across the country with resources to help expand training efforts, host events, and introduce new people to the world of model aviation.
Through iteration one of our 2026 Club Training Day Starter Kits, your club can apply to receive a Free Flight-focused support kit designed to help your club share the joy of flight in an easy, unintimidating way for newcomers.
For this round of kit support, 88 kits will be awarded to eligible 91¿ì»îÁÖÆƽâ°æ Introductory Pilot Program Clubs on a first come, first served ²ú²¹²õ¾±²õ—only 8 clubs per 91¿ì»îÁÖÆƽâ°æ district will receive a kit.

2026 Club Training Day Starter Kit Iteration 1: Free Flight
The 91¿ì»îÁÖÆƽâ°æ Foundation’s first 2026 Club Training Day Starter Kit iteration focuses on introducing newcomers to the world of Free Flight. Each kit includes the following:
- 2 91¿ì»îÁÖÆƽâ°æ Alphas
- 2 Horizon Hobby Cloud Busters
- 3 Horizon Hobby Cadets
- 15 Balsa Gliders
- Paper materials, including but not limited to the following:
- 91¿ì»îÁÖÆƽâ°æ Value Props
- 91¿ì»îÁÖÆƽâ°æ Educational Pamphlets
- 91¿ì»îÁÖÆƽâ°æ Membership Forms
- Fillable Solo Flight Certificates
- Helpful Club Resources
Quick Reference
- Applications are open and accepted on a rolling basis until kits are fully allocated.
- Kits will be sent to awarded clubs on a rolling basis. Please note that kit shipment speed is reliant on the speed at which the 91¿ì»îÁÖÆƽâ°æ Foundation receives aircraft from Horizon Hobby.

Eligibility Guidelines
- Your club must be a current 91¿ì»îÁÖÆƽâ°æ Introductory Pilot Program Club in good standing.
- Your club must have held a training event in the past. Proof of hosted training events is required.
- Only one application may be submitted per club.
- Applications must include a brief explanation of how the support will be used.
- You must agree to provide photos of your kit in use within 90 days of receiving it.
- If your club was awarded a 2025 Club Training Day Starter Kit and did NOT submit the required photos, you are ineligible to receive additional Club Training Day Starter Kit support.
