Randy Cameron
Pittsburg, Missouri

From Free Flight to the future of flight, my journey in model aviation has spanned generations. Introduced to the hobby by my father and now teaching my grandchildren, I’m proud to represent four generations of passion for building, flying, and sharing the skies. My interests in our hobby are wide. I have flown Control Line, Free Flight, IMAC, 3D, combat, war birds, drones, and sport aircraft.

With over 40 years of leadership in 91��ƽ��—from club officer roles to District VI Vice President and now Executive Vice President—I’ve dedicated my life to promoting safety, innovation, and inclusion in our community. My 22 years in the U.S. Air Force taught me service, discipline, and a mission-first mindset that I bring to every 91��ƽ�� initiative

I have been an 91��ƽ�� Leader Member since the mid-1980s and became a contest director in the 90’s. I served as the District VI Contest Coordinator for ten years and as a District VI Associate Vice President prior to becoming the District VI Vice President. As your Executive VP, I’ve overseen critical committees, led the 91��ƽ��’s Property Acquisition and Development efforts, and ensured that member voices shape our national presence. I’ve stepped up when needed, handling presidential duties and preparing to lead if called.

We must safeguard our hobby from restrictive regulations, welcome responsible drone operators, and continue strengthening our advocacy at every level. We need to modernize communications, attract and retain youth, support club growth, and make membership benefits clearer and more accessible

The fabric of 91��ƽ�� is its 89-year history is members like you. In 1936 91��ƽ�� was built on the principles of education, safety, advancing technologically, and providing one national voice for all modelers. From the beginning of Free Flight to Control Line, and then Radio Control fixed wing to helicopter, turbans and even drones each new technology was accepted.

91��ƽ�� needs to listen to our best asset—you the members! 91��ƽ�� must continue to improve programs that attract and involve youth in our hobby, foster club growth, aid with improving and purchasing flying sites, and other important programs.

Membership loss in our hobby is an issue and a concern to all of us. 91��ƽ�� is working to address this issue. We know that helping clubs be inviting and helping with programs that will attract and retain new members to the clubs will help keep our hobby alive. We have started a marketing campaign to assist with the decline in our hobby.

I believe in preserving our past, embracing new technology, and ensuring 91��ƽ�� remains a vibrant home for all modelers. With your vote, I will continue to champion your voice and protect the freedom to fly—for this generation and the next.

Hello fellow model aviation enthusiasts,

I’m Greg Stone, and I am honored to announce my candidacy for President of the 91��ƽ��. With over 40 years of dedication to this incredible hobby, including my current role as District X Vice President, I bring a lifetime of experience, leadership, and a vision for the future of model aviation. My commitment to supporting clubs, flying sites, and most importantly—education—is stronger than ever.

During my time as District X VP, I’ve made it a top priority to support local clubs, promote model aviation in schools, and help bring our hobby to the next generation of flyers, engineers, and innovators. As Chair of the 91��ƽ�� Education Committee, I’ve worked closely with educators and volunteers to launch and expand successful programs like Science Olympiad, Design, Build, Fly, and 91��ƽ��’s UAS4STEM competitions. These initiatives do more than just teach kids how to fly—they teach teamwork, problem-solving, engineering, and perseverance.

Model aviation is one of the most engaging and hands-on ways to introduce youth to STEM principles, and I firmly believe that our organization must lead the way in educational outreach. As 91��ƽ�� President, I will expand our partnerships with schools, youth organizations, and aerospace industry leaders to ensure that 91��ƽ�� is recognized as a national leader in STEM education. Our community has the expertise, the passion, and the technology to inspire a new generation—and I will work to provide the resources and visibility we need to do just that.

In District X, I’ve made it a personal mission to visit and support as many clubs and events as possible. From site improvement grants to community outreach, I’ve advocated for our members and ensured that clubs receive the tools they need to succeed. I’m proud that each year, we’ve reached the maximum in site improvement grant distributions, helping clubs improve their facilities and increase accessibility. As 91��ƽ�� President, I will fight to expand these grant programs nationwide, giving every district the opportunity to grow and improve.

My journey in model aviation began decades ago with control line models and rockets. Since then, I’ve immersed myself in all aspects of the hobby—from free flight to control line to all facets of R/C—and have served in both grassroots and leadership roles. I understand the challenges clubs face today, from evolving FAA regulations to member engagement, and I bring not only experience but a proactive mindset to every issue we face.

Most importantly, I believe in the strength of our community. I’ve seen firsthand how 91��ƽ�� members come together—not just to fly, but to teach, mentor, volunteer, and share their passion. That spirit is what makes our hobby so special, and it is what drives me to lead with integrity, transparency, and a deep respect for our shared legacy.

As your 91��ƽ�� President, I will work tirelessly to preserve and grow model aviation, to champion education and youth involvement, and to ensure that every member, from student pilot to seasoned competitor, has a voice in our organization.

Our hobby is facing challenging times. Model aviation has faced closed hobby shops, extinct manufacturers, defunct flying clubs, and a lack of younger members. These facts are not the demise of aeromodelling, but an opportunity to redefine model aviation to meet the times in a changing world.

Challenges are not new to 91��ƽ�� members. Modelers understand how to overcome, improvise, and make things work. Over the decades 91��ƽ�� members have delt with issues such as access to radio frequencies, safety issues, governmental regulation, and finding flying sites. 91��ƽ�� members have always overcome difficult times, and we have the ability to once again meet the challenge and grow model aviation.

Social media, 24-hour news, cell phones, and an instant gratification society have changed recreation, numerous hobbies, and the way people interact. Fortunately, people still seek interesting activities, fun experiences, and outlets from today’s hectic lifestyles. Model aviation is an overwhelmingly fun experience that can provide that outlet, if only we seize the opportunity!

The foundation of 91��ƽ�� is built on our members. 91��ƽ�� must provide additional resources, tools, and programs for our members and club officers to promote, strengthen, and grow their clubs. These efforts will help clubs introduce aeromodelling to the public and promote model aviation as the fun, exciting, and satisfying hobby that it is. These same principles and resources will be available to our 91��ƽ�� Special Interest Groups (SIGs) as well.

As the 91��ƽ�� Vice President for District II, my district and its members have an enviable record of addressing challenges, and in particular, defeating proposed laws that would have severely impacted clubs and flying sites. So successful have been our efforts, District 2 is a permanent member of a state-wide, Homeland Security Committee, where we represent the interests of 91��ƽ�� members. I have personally represented 91��ƽ�� members in Washington, D.C and to various state legislators, parks department representatives, county sheriffs, and numerous other public officials. 91��ƽ�� must build on our successes to ensure and maintain strong governmental relationships throughout all of our 91��ƽ�� districts.

My priorities for 91��ƽ�� are; supporting clubs, improving communication with members, strengthening governmental relationships, enhancing youth participation, supporting competition, and vigorously promoting and protecting our hobby. My experiences include serving on various 91��ƽ�� committees and work groups including the Bylaws Committee, the Marketing Committee, the Advanced Flight Systems Committee, ad-hoc legal review committees, and as Chairman of the National Model Aviation Museum. I have visited many clubs from California to New York and Florida to Maine. In all of my travels the interests of 91��ƽ�� members are my first priority!

91��ƽ�� is your organization! 91��ƽ�� must do more to be responsive to you, our members. As 91��ƽ�� president, I will establish an Industry Advisory Committee and a Member Advisory Council. These groups will be comprised of industry representatives and 91��ƽ�� members that will provide feedback, insight, and new ideas from members. Listening to you is essential!

To face our challenges and meet the needs of members, 91��ƽ�� needs a shared vision, clear communication, and effective leadership. My accomplishments demonstrate that I possess the experiences, skills, and qualities needed to lead 91��ƽ�� and to preserve and protect our hobby.

District I

Andy Argenio
Smithfield, Rhode Island

I am honored to have served as your District I (DI) Vice President for the past 20 years, and I am again seeking your vote to continue my efforts alongside the AVP Officers, Leader Members, and volunteers in promoting, protecting, and advancing aeromodelling for 91��ƽ�� clubs and members.

What began in 2004 as a team of six AVPs, with my election as VP, has now grown to 16 AVPs, along with the establishment of the 91��ƽ�� DI Outreach Team (ADOT) in 2022, which boasts over 48 dedicated members. Team participation in STEM enrichment activities and airport air shows has increased from 4 events to over 12 per year. At these events, we entertain, educate, and engage thousands of attendees about the joys of flying various model aircraft. Additionally, we participate in numerous club events annually. DI's diverse and consistent outreach in New England showcases the benefits of 91��ƽ�� membership and aeromodelling, as well-documented on our media channels. We have been recognized by 91��ƽ�� leadership as one of the most active districts in promoting 91��ƽ�� and aeromodelling as an exciting recreational sport with pathways to careers in aviation and technology.

On a national level, I have the privilege of chairing 91��ƽ�� committees, including Bylaws, Advanced Flight Systems, Executive Director Review, and Staff Liaison & Affairs.

The success of DI is a result of strong collaboration and engagement among our team, 91��ƽ�� directors, club officers, and members through monthly Zoom meetings. During these meetings, we focus on gathering valuable feedback from our community.

With your vote, we will continue to champion safety, foster innovation, expand our reach, and secure a bright future for aeromodelling. I am eager to keep building this future with each of you.

Andrew Griffith
Jacksonville, Florida

Hello District-5 members! I am asking for your vote as I seek reelection to represent you, our members, on the Executive Council as the D-V Vice President.

I’ve been an active 91��ƽ�� member since the late 70’s when I got started flying gliders. I have been a review, event, and original content editor for Model Aviation, Park Flyer, Fly RC, Model Airplane News, RC Heli Pilot, and RC Helicopter magazines as well as digital content on RC Universe. I have been a CD and associate VP for over 10 years and served 7 months as your District-V VP to fill the remaining term when our then VP stepped down in 2016 and the previous 6 years as your District VP.

I currently have experience in just about everything RC related; jets, giant scale, gliders, helicopters (both 3D and scale), foamies, and even drones, I also hold both fixed wing and rotary turbine waivers. I feel that this diverse experience gives me an excellent foundation to understand the needs and desires of our equally diverse membership base.

I have experience in department management and budgeting and intend to be a good steward of our dues money allocated to the District budget. I presently attend many events and visit many fields and clubs within the district and enjoy discussing members concerns such as FAA and legal issues as well as our shared enjoyment in modeling.

I’ve learned much the last 6 years serving as VP and also making positive changes on the Safety Committee. Most importantly I learned that we have an awesome staff at 91��ƽ�� HQ and while there’s some things I still I don’t know, I know who the experts are and who to ask whether it’s a club issue, flying site help, insurance or government relations.

I look forward to hopefully serving my third and final term as your District Vice President.

District IX

Brandon Koch
Mandan, North Dakota

My continued goal as 91��ƽ�� District VP is simple, I do my best to listen to the concerns of our district members and work towards addressing their needs on the Executive Council. I also do my very best to be responsible with membership dollars. I will continue to voice the concerns of District IX on the Executive Council and be a representative who will work to keep our organization vibrant and fiscally responsible.

I have been an 91��ƽ�� Member for 15 years, Life Member for 13, a Leader-Member and District IX AVP for 8, and District IX VP for the last 2 1/2.

I am an avid flyer of just about any fixed wing RC including gliders, turbines, giant scale gas, EDF’s, scratch-builts, and foamies. I am member of 3 North Dakota clubs and have served as either President, Secretary, or Safety Officer over the years.

I was on the Flying Site Improvement Grant Committee for two years and have helped many of our district clubs gain grants for field improvements.

For 6 1/2 years I have been on the 91��ƽ�� Safety Committee working to improve, simplify, and keep our Safety Code up to date with changing technology. The last 4 1/2 I have served as the Committee Chairperson.

I serve on the 91��ƽ�� Government Advocacy Workgroup helping to recognize and find solutions to issues facing 91��ƽ�� Members due to government overreach.

I have also joined the 91��ƽ��’s Property and Development Committee (PADCOM) where we balance the needs of the community when it comes to making decisions about usage, improvements and maintenance at the IAC Grounds and Headquarter buildings.

I aim to keep pushing for club support, meaningful member benefits and fiscal responsibility and I ask for your support as District IX’s Vice President.
